Singapore-based custom gaming notebook builder Aftershock PC launched its first slim notebook last week. Dubbed the S-15, it is the brand’s first slim gaming system, and its addition brings its total product lineup to seven models.
The 15.6” S-15 features an aluminium alloy chassis that weighs just 2.43kg, as well as Nvidia’s latest top-of-the-line GTX graphics cards, the 970M/980M. It also comes equipped with a tri-fan setup, consisting of a single CPU fan and a dual GPU fan, as well as multiple display options including 4K display. As with all Aftershock PC products, the S-15 model will be fully customizable. It starts at S$2039 ($1604) for its base configuration.
Aftershock PC has long been known for its custom-built, affordable, and powerful notebooks. However, these notebooks also weighed a ton. The S-15 is the company’s first attempt at producing a lightweight model since the now-discontinued Aftershock Halo, which was a slim model geared towards business use.
