Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited gets a Vita port and will be available this year

This is a great year to be a Disgaea fan as the latest sequel in the series, the enhanced version of Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, is getting a Vita port titled, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited. Gematsu reveals that Promise Revisited will be made available to retail and digital channels in the NA and EU regions this coming August.

A Promise Revisited will have access to all the downloadable content from Return, brand-new A Promise Revisited-exclusive scenarios, new characters and cameo appearances of characters from previous Disgaea titles, a new tier of spells, and job-specific techniques.

Some of the confirmed scenarios in A Promise Revisited are:

• The Fuka & Desco Show
• The Flashback Episode
• The story of Tyrant Valvatorez and Sister Artina

How is this relevant to Asia players? As long as you can access the North American PSN servers you will be able to buy the digital copy of the game. As for the retail copy, we’ve contacted some Asian game retailers to see if they’re stocking it and will update this post when we hear back.
