Singapore fintech startup lands series A1 funding from OSK Ventures, more
OSK Ventures International, a Malaysia-based private equity firm, announced that it has led a series A1 funding round for Singapore-based fintech startup TurnKey Lender. Existing investors Vertex Ventures and Western NIS Enterprise Fund also participated in the round. The investment amount was not disclosed.
TurnKey Lender will use the fresh funding to fuel its growth as it plans to expand its product offerings and scale its global footprint, especially in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
The startup provides lenders – from peer-to-peer microfinance firms to financial institutions – a cloud-based solution that uses “the same level of credit scoring and automation technology used in banks.”
The solution helps non-bank lenders automate their entire business processes such as loan origination, collections and reporting, and automated risk assessment. It also leverages on AI for credit decision process.
TurnKey Lender previously raised US$2 million in a series A round with Vertex Ventures in July 2017.
