In brief: India’s Bonito Designs bags $6.3m in new funding

• Interior design brand Bonito Designs today announced that it has raised US$6.3 millio part of its pre-series A round, which was led by early-stage strategic investment fund Tomorrow Capital.
• The Bangalore-based company says it will use the fresh capital to expand its operations as it looks to enter markets in Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
• Bonito Designs also said that a large portion of the funding will be allocated for R&D to build delivery know-how and personalize its products.
