7th InnoAge Forum – 21 May

Inno Age banner 2010

In Singapore the number of baby boomers aged 50 and above will grow from 27% of the population in 2008 to 37% by 2018 (Global Demographics). That’s a ratio of 1 in 3 residents or more than a million potential customers and simply cannot be ignored. What products and services do they require ? The one who can identify these needs and provide a solution will be richly rewarded.

The purpose of this forum is to bring silver innovators together, to share and learn from each other. We want to share new ideas, stimulate discussions and facilitate collaborations amongst forum members that will result in projects that can make a difference to older people.

Agenda

For this 7th session, we will present a project aptly called Fortune Box which features a product that can help the elderly find their keys, books and other frequently misplaced household items easily. As we age, we tend to be more forgetful, but we can use technology to help us remember and make a fortune for the innovator!
