For those of you getting ready to hit the town this weekend, you might want to consider jetting off to an entirely different locale, because today was a great day for travel booking. For those of you who like to stay home, there’s something here for you too, because a food delivery service seems to have beat the odds for the moment, a website wants to help you furnish your apartment for cheap, and a mobile jewelry store is getting off on the right foot. Interested? Great. Enjoy these four startup gems:
FlatFurnish
FlatFurnish, an online furnishing startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Jabong’s founder Arun Chandra Mohan. The money will be used to further expand the company.
FlatFurnish was founded last year by Jyoti Goyal, Aritra Saha and Jeetesh Agra. Vendors can submit designs to the site, and users can rent furniture for monthly prices.
The home decorating scene in India is a popular one right now. FlatFurnish is looking to raise another round of funding by the end of the month.

Train ticket discovery app ConfirmTKT has raised US$250,000 from a venture capital firm aptly named Venture Capitalists. A gaggle of angel investors are leading the app’s second round of funding.
The train booking company got its start in July 2014 under former IBM executives Sripad Vaidya and Dinesh Kumar Kotha.
The startup plans on using the money to further improve its app and the train ticket buying experience. A destination suggestion element is also in the works.

FreshMenu
Despite several Indian foodtech startups scrambling to stay afloat, FreshMenu has bagged US$16.5 million in a round led by Zodius Capital. Lightspeed Venture Partners also took part.
Founded in 2014 by IIM Ahmedabad grad Rashmi Daga with backing from angel investors Meena and Krishnan Ganesh in Bangalore, Freshmenu has since taken its online restaurant services to Delhi and Mumbai.
The funds will be used for more hiring, operation expansion, and building up the brand, which will hopefully stay afloat amidst the decline in foodtech companies in the country.
