A startup hoping to gamify HR gained funding over the weekend, while an acquisition in a last mile delivery startup hopes to make India-wide deliveries more efficient. In the meantime, an app that syncs everything between your smart devices also cashed in. Check out these investments and acquisitions that went down in India today and over the weekend.
YourGuy
Logistics software company LogiNext, based in both the US and Mumbai, has acquired Mumbai-based last mile delivery startup YourGuy. LogiNext will use the acquisition to enhance its own last mile delivery service Sprintr. As part of the deal, YourGuy’s founder and team will join Sprintr.
Founded by LogiNext in December 2015, Sprintr, via mobile app, allows individuals to sign up to do deliveries. Delivery companies in India can employ Sprintr’s services.
YourGuy was founded in 2014 by Alay Jhaveri and did 4,000 deliveries a day across several verticals like food, retail, pharmaceuticals, and groceries. It has worked with Godrej Nature’s Basket, iChef, Wellness Forever, among others. YourGuy’s current customers will be able to purchase LogiNext’s technology.
InTouchApp
Pune-based InTouchApp, run by Volare Technologies, has raised an undisclosed amount from Blume Ventures. InTouchApp was incubated at the Microsoft India Accelerator program.
Through the app, users can sync, backup, and share contacts. Available for all smartphone platforms, it was founded by Sarang Lakare in 2012.

On Saturday, simulation software startup Knolskape raised an undisclosed amount of series A funding from venture capital firm Inventus Capital Partners and the HR Fund, a human-resources-focused private investment company.
Founded by Rajiv Jayaraman in 2008, Knolscape is a gamification and simulation software firm that specializes in talent transformation. It hopes to gain more international HR knowledge from the global HR community and thinks gamified training is a good way to reach out to the next generation of employees.
