Seeing as how today’s Friday, we couldn’t help but share this little oddity posted over on Youku. For better or worse, most of you are probably familiar with Rebecca Black’s viral sensation ‘Friday’. Well, here’s a Chinese rendition of that song performed by LA-based musician Dawen.
It’s way less awful, so I actually do recommend giving it a listen. I’m not sure of Dawen’s nationality, but it’s good to see people posting on Youku from outside of China. It takes me back to the days when Hong Laowai was representin’ west side in the Chinese online video space.
