These days carrier billing for apps is definitely on the rise here in Indonesia. Today, the country’s biggest telco Telkomsel announced that the company now provides carrier billing for the Blackberry AppWorld. This can only work starting from the AppWorld’s version 4.0 on phones.
This of course is great news for Blackberry developers out there as Indonesian Blackberry users can purchase apps by using their Telkomsel credit. With this, Blackberry AppWorld carrier billing is now supported by three Indonesian telecoms – Indosat, XL Axiata, and Telkomsel.
