SimPATI’s Dance Competition Breaks Indonesian Record

Dance Like Agnes, a video dance competition run by Indonesian telco SimPATI, has earned a place in the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) yesterday. The record-breaking feat is the ‘largest number of dance videos collected via a website in Indonesia.’

Kompas cites Tengku Ferdi Febrian, the head of SimPati’s brand management, as saying yesterday that there were a total of 10,000 videos uploaded for the competition. The competition was also talked about 10 million times on Twitter.
