Blizzard Entertainment with the help of NetEase will be hosting the Battle.net World Championship in Shanghai, China on November 17 (Sat) and 18 (Sun) this year. The competition will be focusing on Starcraft 2 and also World of Warcraft. No Diablo 3, yet, unfortunately!

well be prepared for high ping and games with lag. playing on server outside of china is most of the time pretty painfull on blizzard games even with a good optical fiber connexion… probably due to the great firewall filtering. Either that or international player will have to play on the chinese version of the game…
