Xero partners Anthropic to bring Claude to its platform

Xero, a global small business platform, has announced a multi-year partnership with AI research and development company Anthropic to integrate Claude into Xero and bring Xero financial data and tools into Claude.ai.

The integration will let customers run tasks such as cash flow checks, invoice follow-ups, and revenue analysis across Xero and Claude.

Claude-powered insights in Xero and Xero features inside Claude.ai are expected to roll out in the coming months.

Data shared between the platforms will be used only for the active session and will not be used to train Claude models.

Its internal teams will use Claude Code and Cowork, and noted it announced a separate collaboration with OpenAI in 2025.
