V-Green, UAE group plan 100k EV charging stations in ID

V-Green, an electric vehicle (EV) charging station company under VinFast’s founder, has signed an agreement with the United Arab Emirates-based Prime Group’s subsidiary.

The agreement aims to develop a network of EV charging stations in Indonesia. Plans include up to 100,000 charging stations, with a projected investment reaching US$1.2 billion within three years.

Initially, charging stations will be installed in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, and nearby areas. Operations are expected to begin in January 2025.

Additionally, VinFast is constructing an assembly plant in Subang, West Java, to enhance its regional production capabilities.
