US VC firm raises $6.6m for women’s health startups
Swizzle Ventures, a newly established venture capital firm based in Seattle, has closed its first fund at US$6.6 million, exceeding its original goal of US$3 million.
The fund focuses on women’s health and financial issues, including caregiving and wealth management.
Founded by Jessica Kamada in 2023, Swizzle Ventures aims to invest between US$100,000 and US$200,000 at the pre-seed and seed stages.
The firm has so far invested in 11 companies and intends to support a total of 30.
