Tesla is recalling 694,304 vehicles – including its Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck – due to a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) flaw in the United States.

The TPMS warning light may not remain illuminated between drives, potentially obscuring low tire pressure risks, which Tesla will fix via an over-the-air software update.

Tesla accounts for 21% of all US recalls this year, with most resolved through software updates instead of repairs.

In September, Tesla led American automakers with 1,858,774 vehicles recalled and issued its sixth recall for its Cybertruck in November, affecting 2,400 units.
