Tesla Q1 deliveries fall 13%, miss investor estimates
Tesla delivered 336,000 vehicles in Q1 2025, a 13% drop from 2024 and below investor expectations of 360,000–370,000.
Production reached 345,454 units, with 323,800 Model 3 and Model Y deliveries and 12,881 from other models, including the Cybertruck.
Factory shutdowns for Model Y upgrades contributed to the decline, though CEO Elon Musk remains optimistic about its global sales performance.
Tesla’s market share fell in key regions, including Europe (9.3% from 17.9%), Germany (4% from 16%), and China (11.5% drop in March sales).
Tesla’s stock fell 36% in Q1, erasing US$460 billion in market value, with analysts citing brand struggles and growing competition.
