Tesla announced plans to offer more affordable electric vehicles in 2025, as outlined in its third-quarter 2024 earnings report.

This follows a less-anticipated robotaxi event, where Tesla focused on making EVs cost-competitive with other transportation methods.

In the third quarter of 2024, Tesla recorded a net income of US$2.2 billion from US$25.2 billion in revenue.

This marks a 7% increase in revenue and a 17% rise in net income compared to previous figures.

These outcomes slightly surpassed analyst expectations, who had predicted a 9% decline in profits alongside a 9% revenue uptick.
