The Guild,  formerly known as EtherealX, a Bengaluru-based space tech startup, has raised US$20.5 million in a series A funding round led by TDK Ventures and BIG Capital, increasing its valuation to US$80.5 million, a 5.5x rise.

The funding also included participation from Accel, Prosus, Yournest, Campus Fund, BlueHill, and Riceberg, bringing total funding to US$25.5 million.

The company plans to test its engines, including the 1.2MN booster stage powered by the Stallion engine, and develop facilities in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for engine and stage testing.

The Guild aims to build India’s infrastructure for semi-cryogenic propulsion testing and stage qualification, supporting national and international space launch needs.

The company, founded in 2022, is developing a fully reusable medium-lift rocket capable of carrying up to 24.8 tons to LEO and 10.8 tons to GTO.
