Singapore investment firm BSQ forms $300m AI venture

Singapore investment firm BSQ Capital Partners and AI financing company USD.AI said they formed a joint venture to provide financing for AI compute infrastructure operators across Asia-Pacific.

The partners said the venture targets up to US$300 million in initial financing and could scale to US$1 billion.

BSQ, founded in 2022, is a Singapore-based alternative asset manager focused on digital infrastructure and asset-backed financing.

USD.AI offers loans secured by graphics processing units and related contractual cash flows. The company previously provided a US$98.1 million facility to deploy Nvidia B300 GPU.

The companies said the financing product targets AI compute infrastructure operators that face limited access to bank financing, as Asia-Pacific is one of the fastest-growing markets for AI compute.
