Salesforce ramps up Philippines expansion with new office
Salesforce has opened a new office in Manila as part of its expansion into the Philippines.
The US-based AI CRM provider said the move aims to support local businesses and grow the country’s AI ecosystem.
The office in Ayala Triangle Gardens will bring the team closer to customers and partners.
Salesforce also said it plans to train 12,000 Filipinos in AI and CRM skills through Trailhead and local education partners.
Tagalog is now available on Agentforce to better serve local businesses.
The company works with major Philippine firms such as Ayala Land, BPI, Meralco, and Philippine Airlines, and partners with Accenture and Deloitte to extend its platform’s reach.
It has also supported local education initiatives, including the Starbooks project for underserved communities.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Manila hiring looks limited next to Latin America (LATAM) and India growth
- Job postings list at least two Philippines sales roles among 990 openings 12. One is a Named Account Executive (a senior salesperson serving large named accounts) that needs Tagalog. The other covers MuleSoft (Salesforce’s integration and automation platform for connecting data and applications). The lineup favors sales over implementation (delivery) or engineering.
- LATAM and India act as fuller hubs 34. LATAM hiring covers engineering and Customer Success (post-sales adoption and support) 3. India adds a returnship (a structured pathway for professionals re-entering the workforce) and Equality Groups (employee resource communities) 4.
- The company pledged training for 12,000 people over five years. That equals about 2,400 per year. Hiring pace remains undisclosed. This is a training goal, not a hiring target. Near term jobs look limited even with the Ayala Triangle Gardens address.
Philippine system integrators can capture small and medium-sized business (SMB) demand unlocked by Tagalog support
- Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI-powered service platform, has Tagalog support. That removes a barrier for mid-market firms that avoided English-only tools. Local system integrators, IT consultancies that implement and customize enterprise software, can build services for this group.
- Global partners include Accenture and Deloitte in the Philippines. The company also works with Ayala Land and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). The focus favors large enterprises, leaving SMBs open for regional partners with localized pricing and support. If Tagalog lifts adoption, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand could follow within 12 to 18 months.
