S Korean battery maker L&F cuts Tesla supply deal value to $4.7m

L&F, a battery material manufacturer based in South Korea, said the value of its supply deal with Tesla has been reduced to US$7,400, down from an earlier estimate of US$2.9 billion.

The agreement, signed in 2023, covers the supply of high nickel cathode materials to Tesla and its affiliates in the US and other regions from January 2024 to December 2025.

L&F did not provide details about the reason for the reduction in deal value.
