Qualcomm Q1 revenue hits $11.72b

Qualcomm has announced its fiscal first-quarter earnings, posting revenue of US$11.72 billion.

This marks an 18% increase from US$9.92 billion in the same quarter last year.

Net income rose 15% to US$3.18 billion, or US$2.83 per share.

This is compared to US$2.77 billion, or US$2.46 per share, a year earlier.

For the upcoming March quarter, Qualcomm projects revenue between US$10.2 billion and US$11 billion.
