QAI Ventures launches QuantumAI Accelerator for early-stage startups
QAI Ventures has launched its QuantumAI Accelerator program in Singapore, with support from Enterprise Singapore.
QAI Ventures, based in Switzerland with offices in several countries, focuses on startups at the intersection of quantum computing and AI.
The announcement was made during the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) on October 29.
Applications for the accelerator are open until March 2, 2026, and the first cohort will begin in mid-2026.
The program targets early-stage startups with at least two founders and offers mentorship and masterclasses, ending with a Demo Day for investors.
QAI Ventures also plans to launch a venture-building program in Singapore in 2026, aiming to establish seven new ventures in the country by 2027.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
- The accelerator offers up to $200K via convertible notes (short-term debt that converts into equity) plus follow-on up to $2M equity for top teams 1, yet release does not share check sizes for Singapore or how many startups get full versus partial funding.
- Global programs list access to quantum hardware, cloud compute, and simulation testbeds (software-based quantum simulators) 1. They also offer lab space plus prototyping support 1 but the Singapore plan skips which systems despite ties to Quantinuum’s H-Series plus Helios 2 plus the National Quantum Computing Hub (NQCH) with the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research’s Institute of High Performance Computing (A*STAR’s IHPC), and the National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) 3. Without clarity on local access versus QAI sites in Europe or North America, applicants cannot judge if this brings technical de-risking (hands-on access that reduces technical uncertainty) or mostly mentorship with investor introductions.
- QEP runs five national platforms 3. These include the National Quantum-Safe Network (NQSN), the National Quantum Computing Hub (NQCH), and the National Quantum Federated Foundry (NQFF) 3. They link partners in finance and supply chain plus chemistry and computational biology 42.
- Solution providers can pitch pilots through QEP links with Thales 5 and Tektronix 6 plus the National Quantum Office (NQO)/NQCH Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quantinuum 2. Cloud platforms can map which corporates engage with NQCH, NQSN, or NQFF 34, then run proof-of-concept work that helps those partners vet cohort startups while acting as validators and bridges.
