PUBG maker Krafton to invest $136m in game studios

Krafton Inc., the South Korean developer of PUBG: Battlegrounds, will invest over 200 billion won (US$136 million) in 2025 to support more than a dozen gaming studios.

This initiative is part of Krafton’s strategy to expand its portfolio and global presence.

CEO Kim Changhan revealed that the company has invested around US$680 million in studio acquisitions and minority stakes in gaming startups in Texas and Tokyo over the past two years.
