US-based Palo Alto Networks lifts 2026 outlook on AI demand
Palo Alto Networks, a US cybersecurity company based in Santa Clara, California, raised its fiscal 2026 revenue and adjusted profit forecast on June 2 after third-quarter revenue rose 31% to US$3 billion.
The result topped London Stock Exchange Group estimates of US$2.94 billion. Palo Alto said spending on cloud, identity, and AI-driven cybersecurity products was rising.
The company now expects fiscal 2026 revenue of US$11.415 billion to US$11.425 billion and adjusted earnings per share of US$3.77 to US$3.79, up from prior guidance of US$11.28 billion to US$11.31 billion and US$3.65 to US$3.70, respectively. Its shares rose 7.4% in extended trading.
Palo Alto said the demand supported its strategy to combine security tools and data into integrated platforms. It said enterprises were trying to reduce the number of tools they used. The average organization runs 83 security solutions from 29 vendors, it said.
In its fiscal second-quarter update, Palo Alto said platform adoption was accelerating due to AI.
