OpenAI updates ChatGPT’s advanced voice mode

OpenAI has updated its Advanced Voice Mode feature in ChatGPT to improve user experience.

The announcement was made on Mar. 24 by Manuka Stratta, a post-training researcher at OpenAI, through a video.

Free users can now pause without being interrupted, while paying subscribers, including Plus and Teams, get smoother interactions.

The update comes as competition in AI voice assistants grows, with startups like Sesame gaining traction and Amazon enhancing Alexa.
