Serve Robotics has entered into an agreement to acquire Diligent Robotics, maker of the hospital delivery robot Moxi, to expand into indoor healthcare environments for the first time.

Diligent’s Moxi robot is deployed in over 25 US hospitals, completing more than 1.2 million autonomous deliveries.

The acquisition aims to integrate Diligent’s hospital-focused autonomous systems into Serve’s broader platform, currently active in urban delivery.

Diligent’s CEO, Andrea Thomaz, said the partnership will help scale hospital robotics and improve healthcare team efficiency.
