Nissan, Mitsubishi to create EV self-driving venture
Nissan Motor and Mitsubishi Corporation plan to establish a joint venture focusing on self-driving technology and EV batteries by March 2025.
The venture will use autonomous driving technology for ride-sharing under specific conditions. It will also provide car-sharing services in rural and tourist areas.
In addition, they plan to use EV batteries powered by sustainable energy in these services and as emergency power sources.
