New holding firm Simple Tech to deploy $200m in equity capital
Simple Technology Holdings Ltd said on July 13, it plans to deploy US$200 million in equity capital over the next 12 months for 15 acquisitions across Web3 infrastructure and services, as it prepares for a planned public listing.
Bangalor Simple Technology Holdings Ltd is an Abu Dhabi Global Market-incorporated company, focused on gaming, media, and Web3 infrastructure.
The company also appointed Jonne Vรคlilรค as co-founder to lead its Web3 unit and mergers and acquisitions.
Wealthrone describes Vรคlilรค as its co-founder and CEO and says he also co-founded serial acquirer eBrands Global, in line with Simple Techโs consolidation strategy.
Simple Tech also said it was considering hiring in India for AI engineering, operations, and deal execution. It is partnering with an India-based firm on AI agents for portfolio operations and data pipelines.
If Simple Tech seeks an ADGM listing, the framework can require three years of audited accounts unless regulators accept a shorter record, while startups and cash-shell-like vehicles face added suitability scrutiny.
The 15-deal target would be aggressive in the still-small Web3 infrastructure mergers and acquisitions market, which saw only 27 deals worth US$4 billion between 2020 and 2024.
