Mistral AI launches ‘Le Chat’ mobile chatbot
Mistral AI, a French startup supported by Nvidia, has launched an app for its open-source generative AI assistant, Le Chat.
This release comes shortly after China’s DeepSeek introduced its own AI assistant, stirring interest in the technology sector.
Based in Paris, Mistral AI states that Le Chat can process up to 1,000 words per second with one of the industry’s fastest inference engines.
The assistant reportedly has several million active users.
