Microsoft’s business development head Chris Young resigns

Chris Young, Microsoft’s head of business development, is stepping down after nearly four years, as disclosed in a regulatory filing on Jan.22.

The company has not announced a successor.

Young joined Microsoft in 2020 following his tenure as CEO of McAfee.

In his role at Microsoft, Young reported directly to CEO Satya Nadella and was part of the senior leadership team.

He led Microsoft’s corporate venture capital arm, M12, which invests in various startups, including Innovaccer, PsiQuantum, and Typeface.
