Meta is set to launch a new video editing app named “Edits” next month, as announced by Instagram head Adam Mosseri on Threads.

The app will initially be available on iOS, with an Android version planned for a later release.

Edits is aimed at content creators and will include several features, such as a high-quality camera, tools for organizing ideas, a dedicated inspiration tab, and the ability to share drafts with collaborators.

Users will also have access to insights on the performance of their videos on Instagram once published.
