Meituan’s delivery firm Keeta launches service in Kuwait

Keeta, the international food delivery platform operated by China’s Meituan, has launched its service in Kuwait.

The rollout follows earlier expansions into Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

New users in Kuwait will get a 50% discount on their first order and free delivery.

The platform includes a range of restaurants, from local Kuwaiti establishments to international chains.

The company said it aims to support small and medium-sized restaurants in Kuwait with digital tools and no ad fees, and offer financial incentives to couriers.

Keeta uses Meituan’s logistics and technology infrastructure, which handles over 150 million orders daily worldwide.

It also plans to work with local logistics firms to ensure nationwide delivery coverage in Kuwait.
