Israeli VC firm closes $400m third fund, AUM hits $1b
Greenfield Partners, a venture capital firm, has closed its third fund, raising US$400 million from institutional investors in Israel, US, Europe, and Asia.
This brings the firm’s total assets under management (AUM) now exceed US$1 billion.
The new fund will focus on early-stage growth companies, especially in the technology sector.
Greenfield Partners was established in 2016 as part of TPG Growth and became an independent firm in 2020.
Greenfield’s previous fund, Fund II, supported investments in 13 companies in cybersecurity, AI, IT infrastructure, fintech, and enterprise software.
Its portfolio includes notable companies like VAST Data, BigPanda, and Capitolis.
The firm has also seen successful exits, including Guardicore’s US$600 million acquisition by Akamai and Avanan’s purchase by Check Point Software.
With Fund III, Greenfield aims to strengthen its global investment strategy, targeting technology ventures in series B and C funding stages.
