Inflection Point leads $720k in Indian insurtech firm Bharatsure
Bharatsure, an insurtech firm based in India, has raised INR 6 crore (US$720,000) in funding from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and other investors, including Capital A and Atrium Angels.
The company focuses on providing Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to enhance insurance distribution.
The funds will be allocated to expand Bharatsure’s insurance infrastructure and improve access to group and embedded insurance solutions across various business ecosystems in India.
Co-founded by Anuj Parekh and Sanil Basutkar, Bharatsure has doubled its revenues in FY25 and aims to achieve EBITDA profitability by the end of the year.
Additionally, Bharatsure has partnered with Battery Smart, a battery-swapping network for electric two- and three-wheelers, to offer natural calamity insurance for its station partners.
This insurance will cover events such as fires, floods, and earthquakes, along with personal accident insurance.
