Lintasarta, a subsidiary of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, launched the Semesta AI program on July 24, 2025, in Jakarta.

This initiative aims to accelerate the development of AI startups in Indonesia and strengthen the national AI ecosystem.

The program is part of the AI Merdeka movement and is being implemented in collaboration with Nvidia through its Inception program.

As the sole Nvidia Cloud Partner in Indonesia, Lintasarta will support local AI startups with mentorship, technical assistance, and access to Nvidia’s accelerated computing technology.

Since opening applications in late 2024, Semesta AI has received 155 entries from startups across Indonesia.

After a rigorous selection process, 20 startups were chosen for intensive mentoring, while 30 others will receive technical guidance to develop AI-based solutions.

Participants will benefit from access to industry experts, advanced Nvidia technology, and collaboration opportunities within Lintasarta’s corporate network.

Selected startups will also compete for GPU Merdeka vouchers worth up to US$15,000 for outstanding AI projects.
