Indian VC firm launches $20m fund for AI, spacetech
Riceberg Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, has announced a US$20 million fund to support deeptech startups, including those in spacetech.
The fund, backed by a consortium of Limited Partners, aims to provide early-stage capital to companies addressing challenges in AI, robotics, quantum computing, and novel energy.
The firm plans to invest in 25 to 30 global startups, with average investments of US$0.5 million each.
Additionally, Riceberg Ventures co-manages KickSky, India’s first SpaceTech accelerator, in partnership with E2MC Ventures.
The accelerator’s second cohort is scheduled to launch in January 2025 to encourage collaboration between Indian and international SpaceTech startups.
