Mumbai-based restaurant chain Burma Burma has raised 25.46 crore rupees (around US$3 million) in a funding round led by Negen Capital.

Additional participation came from NV Alpha Fund Management and several high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).

Founded in 2014 by Ankit Gupta and Chirag Chhajer, the company specializes in Burmese cuisine.

It currently operates 12 restaurants and delivery kitchens in cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.

With the new funds, Burma Burma plans to expand its operations over the next 15 months, targeting a total of 24 outlets by the end of financial year 2026.
