Indian proptech firm Square Yards secures $95m ahead of IPO

Square Yards, an India-based real estate and mortgage platform, said on June 23 that it raised 9 billion rupees (US$95 million), through debt and equity led by EAAA Alternatives, with participation from Muzinich & Co.

The fundraising comes as it prepares for an initial public offering.

The company said it posted FY26 revenue of 20.9 billion rupees (US$220 million), up 48% year on year, and EBITDA of 1.8 billion rupees (US$18.6 million).

It is also looking to raise another US$50 million to US$60 million over the next quarter.

Square Yards said it operates in India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Australia, and Canada.

The financing follows a November 2025 equity round that valued Square Yards at US$935 million post-money.

The company had planned to file its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) for an 20 billion rupees (US$211 million) IPO.
