Indian lending tech startup secures $4.22m series A

Bizloan, a Bengaluru-based lending tech startup, raised 35 crore rupees (around US$4.22 million) in a series A funding round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and BLinC Invest.

The funds will help Bizloan expand in underserved markets, enhance its loan products, and strengthen technology infrastructure.

The startup aims to support over 2,500 micro and nano enterprises within the next year.

Founded by Rahul Jain, Bizloan is an RBI-registered NBFC offering credit to MSMEs.

To date, it has disbursed 774 crore rupees (around US$89.47 million) in loans across 26 branches, benefiting over 3,000 entrepreneurs in states like Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

The funding highlights the growing interest in India’s MSME lending space, driven by the government’s push to empower small businesses.
