Indian enterprise AI startup QwikBuild raises $2.3m pre-seed

QwikBuild, an enterprise AI startup that builds custom business software and AI agents for business operations, said on October 28 that it raised US$2.3 million in pre-seed funding and formed a joint venture with Japan-listed Globalway to enter the Japanese enterprise market.

The round included Globalway, Blume Ventures, Marsshot, and DeVC, alongside angel investors including Groww co-founder Lalit Keshre and Cure.fit co-founder Ankit Nagori.

QwikBuild said its tools are already used by clients in the US, Singapore, and India.

Globalway trades in Japan under ticker 3936.T. The materials reviewed did not disclose the joint venture’s ownership structure.

The expansion comes as Japan issued business AI guidelines through the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as part of its framework for responsible AI use.
