Indian eco-brand Honest Home raises $800k pre-series A

The Honest Home Company, an Indian sustainable home and kitchenware brand, has raised US$800,000 in a pre-series A funding round.

The round was led by Ortella Global Capital, co-founded by Sayan Ghosh and Gaurav Verma, with contributions from angel investors, including Shark Tank judge Anupam Mittal.

Founded in 2019 by Mayank Sisodia, a former executive at Hindustan Unilever and Parle, the company plans to expand its operations and product offerings.

Its range includes air fresheners, bamboo-based products, and eco-friendly cleaners.

Funds from this latest round will be directed towards scaling production, improving distribution, and enhancing its eco-conscious initiatives.
