Indian astrology startup AstroSure.ai secures $6m funding

AstroSure.ai, an online astrology platform, raised US$6 million (52 crore rupees) in a seed funding round led by Pradeep Dadha, the founder of Netmeds.

Several other investors also participated in the round, although their identities remain undisclosed.

The startup, located in Delhi NCR, plans to use the funds to expand its operations and marketing efforts.

Founded in 2024, AstroSure.ai combines Vedic astrology with technology and attracted over 150,000 users during its beta phase.

It features a virtual assistant named Agastyaa to answer user queries.

The investment comes amid growing interest in India’s online astrology sector, which is part of the broader religious and spiritual market valued at US$58.56 billion in 2023.
