Indian AI design firm Tagbin raises $10m, eyes IPO
Tagbin, a Gurgaon-based company specializing in immersive digital design and AI, has raised US$10 million from private investors.
The funding includes contributions from SageOne Flagship Growth OE Fund, Jyotivardhan Sonthalia, Sanjay Kaul, Ramesh Damani, Moheet Agarwal, Siddharth Iyer, Abhinandan Lodha, and the Kurl-on Group.
The company plans to use the new capital to expand internationally, upgrade its technology, and prepare for a stock market listing by March 2027.
Founded in 2013 by IIT graduates, Tagbin creates interactive environments for public spaces and develops AI-driven tools for public sector clients in India.
Tagbin’s portfolio includes national museums, public installations, and data-driven systems for government agencies.
The company said it has posted steady profits in recent years, mainly from government and institutional clients.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Tagbin’s profitability claims lack verifiable financial disclosures
- Tagbin cites steady profits but shares no revenue or growth rates. It also withholds Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) figures which matter for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) planned for March 2027.
- Indian companies file with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India’s corporate registry. We could not access Tagbin Services Private Limited data on Tofler, an India-focused filings database, so we could not verify the profit claim from these sources 12.
- Customer concentration is undisclosed. Investors cannot judge revenue durability or exposure to public spending shifts, especially if sales tilt to government and institutional clients.
- Receivable days are not shared. Cash flow looks uncertain when government buyers take longer to pay, which can strain working capital.
Audiovisual (AV) integrators and localization vendors could benefit from Tagbin’s international push; Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) demand is rising
- If Tagbin expands abroad, interactive museum and public space work creates near term needs for local AV systems integrators. They handle design, installation and maintenance.
- PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) estimates the metaverse could add about 15 billion to GCC economies by 2030 3. Saudi Arabia wants 100 million tourists. It funds sites such as AlUla and NEOM built for culture and immersion, which opens space for localization plus compliance ready vendors.
- Tech suppliers can track live digital museum and experience center tenders via global aggregators to partner with Tagbin or bid with specialized hardware, installation services, and multilingual staff 45.
