Grindr Inc. has announced updates to its dating app that incorporate AI to enhance user engagement.

The new features include tools that analyze conversations and in-app behavior, providing chat summaries and personalized recommendations.

One feature, titled “A-List,” highlights users with whom significant interactions have occurred.

Chat summaries enable users to recall key topics from previous conversations.

Some features, such as five free chat summaries, will be available through trial periods before requiring a subscription.

CEO George Arison noted that the company intends to maintain a strong free service alongside its monetization efforts.
