Grammarly rebrands as Superhuman
Grammarly has rebranded as Superhuman and now operates alongside Coda, Superhuman Mail, and a new AI assistant called Superhuman Go.
Grammarly acquired Coda in December 2024 and Superhuman Mail in June 2025, and all these products are now unified under the Superhuman brand.
The new Superhuman suite is available to users with a paid Grammarly Pro subscription, and Superhuman Go will be free for these users until February 1, 2026, with future pricing yet to be announced.
Grammarly’s writing tool will remain available but will play a lesser role as the company emphasizes its AI agent platform, which connects with over 100 apps to offer contextual suggestions and task automation.
The platform now features an Agent Store, allowing users to access AI agents for specific tasks or integrations, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Grammarly bets on a platform shift with murky enterprise uptake
- Revenue grew from $178.9 million in 2023 to $251.8 million in 2024, a 40.7% increase, while the valuation has stayed at $13 billion since 2021 1.
- The rebrand spotlights Superhuman Go, yet neither Grammarly nor its acquisitions have shared paid subscriber counts or enterprise seat numbers (licensed user seats) 2. With no adoption data across 50,000 organizations 3, it is hard to know if the shift grows revenue or only rewraps existing products 2.
- Grammarly’s flagship writing assistant now sits as one piece of a broader platform 42. If enterprises resist the suite or pick specialist tools, the company could eat into its core revenue without adding market share.
SaaS developers can reach users by building agents for Superhuman’s new store
- Superhuman launched an Agent Store (a marketplace for AI agents) and opened the Superhuman Agents Software Development Kit (SDK) in closed beta, an invite-only testing phase for third-party developers 52.
- Fast movers can tap Grammarly’s reach of 40 million people and 50,000 organizations, which can shorten enterprise sales cycles 2. OpenAI’s AgentKit plus Apps SDK are toolkits to build and sell agents or apps 6. App submission and revenue sharing are expected in 2025 6.
- Monetization remains unclear. Developers need terms for revenue share, Application Programming Interface (API) pricing and submission rules to judge return on investment (ROI). Early adopters can prototype agents for workflows such as data extraction or meeting automation using LangChain plus AutoGen (libraries for composing AI workflows, then building autonomous agents) 7.
