Grab buys equity stake in Cambodian food delivery, ecommerce app

Grab has acquired an equity stake in Nham24, Cambodia’s food delivery and ecommerce platform.

This stake was sold by Mekong Strategic Ventures, which manages the Smart Axiata Digital Innovation Fund (SADIF).

SADIF invested in Nham24 in 2018, which has since attracted over one million registered users.

Although the specific details of the transaction are not disclosed, it is considered one of the largest venture capital exits for a Cambodian company.

Mekong Strategic Capital acted as the lead financial advisor for the deal.
