Google's Gemini Live brings voice AI to iPhone lock screen

Google’s AI chatbot Gemini is now accessible directly from the iPhone’s lock screen, following an update on Mar. 3.

Users can activate the “Gemini Live” feature by adding a widget, allowing voice interactions without unlocking their phones.

These widgets allow users to upload pictures taken with the iPhone camera, set reminders, create calendar events, and start text chats with the chatbot.

Android users will get new Gemini features this month, including real-time video and screen-based AI assistance for paid subscribers.
