Global AI, owned by Slovenian entrepreneur Darko Horvat, has acquired the Israeli technology firm Tectu for approximately US$13 million.

The acquisition includes US$12 million in Global AI shares and US$1 million in cash.

Following the acquisition, Tectu’s 70 employees and its proprietary technologies will be integrated into Global AI.

The company has launched a new research and development center in Israel that will focus on AI innovation.
