GetGo deploys Datadog to improve incident response

Datadog, a US observability and security company, said on September 4 that Singapore carsharing service GetGo had rolled out its tools across its cloud-based systems and mobile apps to unify monitoring and speed up incident response as the business grows.

GetGo, which runs a point-to-point carsharing platform in Singapore, said it had previously relied on fragmented monitoring tools.

It now uses Datadog for application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, log management, and mobile user monitoring across a platform that supports more than 3,000 vehicles in 1,700 locations.

The company said the deployment cut bug investigation time by 50% to 60% and reduced mean time to detection and mean time to resolution by 30% to 40% on average.

GetGo also said it was exploring Datadog’s AI and security tools, including Bits AI for site reliability engineering and cloud security information and event management.
